Chocolate Hearts

Chocolate hearts are excellent for a Valentine’s Day. It is a great pleasure preparing them on your own and gifting your dear one. Chocolate hearts can be made with different cooking chocolates and arranged in an attractive way to surprise your Valentine!

Makes about: 10 chocolates

Ingredients

  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 50 g white chocolate
  • Heart shaped moulds
  • 1 cup rice crispies

Method

Melt both chocolates separately with double boiling method– Boil water in a wide pan and place a heat resistant glass bowl in it. To this add pieces of cooking chocolate and mix till chocolate is almost melted. Now remove from the stove and mix for 2-3 minutes till chocolate is completely melted.

Now add rice crispies to the milk chocolate and mix gently till they are completely coated with chocolate.

With a spoon take white chocolate and design lines or zigzag pattern in the moulds. On top of it pour milk chocolate with rice crispies to fill the moulds.

Refrigerate for 45 minutes and remove.
