Potato Wedges

Potato wedges are simply a fast and easy way to serve up seasoned potatoes.

If you like French fries or chips, you would also like potato wedges. There are so many different ways to prepare them. This recipe uses garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese, for seasoning. To speed up the preparation time this recipe is precooked in the microwave and finished in the pan.

Cooking time: 15 minutes
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Serves: 2-3


  • 3-4 potatoes
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper


Peel potatoes, rinse, and cut into 6-8 wedges.

Place potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, and stir to cover potatoes with oil.

Add in the garlic powder, cheese, salt and pepper, and toss with potatoes.

Microwave for 5 minutes.

Transfer the potato wedges into a pan, sprayed with non-sticking spray.

Cook for about 5-10 minutes more or until golden brown.
