Kheema Balls

Kheema balls are a delicious snack, which are mild in taste. These are very popular and are made with different masalas. In this recipe we are using fewer spices, yet very tasty.

Serves: 2-3


  • 250 gms mutton kheema
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 strands of fresh coriander
  • Refined oil for frying
  • 2 strands of curry leaves
  • 1 tsp limejuice
  • 2 small onions


Clean the mutton kheema. Boil it with salt and turmeric adding very little water. Cool it.

Take the kheema in a bowl and add corn flour, red chilly powder, egg white, chopped coriander, limejuice and chopped onions. Mix well.

Make lemon sized balls out of this mixture.

Deep-fry them in oil over a low flame till golden brown.

Garnish with fried curry leaves. Serve hot.
