Taco Salad is a combination of chili, tacos, and salad.

If you enjoy the above dishes, you will definitely enjoy taco salad. Also you will find it easy and quick to prepare. Top it off with some sour cream, and some tortilla chips and your festive meal is ready. Choose mild to hot salsa according to your taste.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 16 oz. jar of salsa
  • 1 can dark kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 8 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 4 dollops of sour cream
  • Tortilla chips


1. Brown ground beef until there is no more pink in the meat, drain.

2. Add salsa and kidney beans to the meat.

3. Divide lettuce between 4 salad plates.

4. Pour meat mixture over lettuce.

5. Distribute tomatoes and cheese among salads.

6.Place one dollop of sour cream on tops of each plate.

7. Serve with tortilla chips.
