The Cobb Salad was first created in the 1930’s at the Hollywood Brown Derby.
There are many recipes for the salad, but basically it is presented as a meal, with hard boiled egg, chicken breast, and salad greens. Below is a basic Cobb Salad dressing, but you can use any dressing of your choice.

Serves: 2-3
Ingredients
- Salad greens, chopped
- 2 hard boiled eggs
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 3 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
Method
1. Place chopped salad on serving plates.
2. Top with egg, chicken, tomato, and bacon.
Dressing
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoons salt
- ¾ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon mustard
- ½ teaspoon powdered garlic
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¾ cup salad oil
Method
1. Blend all ingredients in blender except oils.
2. Blend in oils one at a time on low speed.
3. Cobb Salad is ready to serve.
