Spicy Tomato Macaroni

This recipe is homemade Macaroni.  We normally by ready made pasta, macaroni and put masala given in this packet, for a change try this homemade spicy tomato macaroni and give your family a healthy start.

Preparation time: 25 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Yields/Serves: 2-3 persons


  • Macaroni packet 200 g
  • Tomato 250 g
  • Onion 100 g
  • Ginger-garlic paste 2 spoons
  • Red chili powder 1 spoon
  • Turmeric powder 1 spoon
  • Garam masala 1-2 spoon as per taste and flavor.
  • Aji-no-moto 1 spoon
  • Salt as needed


Chop tomatoes and onions

Boil macaroni with just enough salt in 1:3 part of water(1 cup of macaroni needs 3 cups of water) until it is soft.  Drain the water and keep aside.

Heat oil/butter in a kadai and fry onions until it is golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste and fry well.  Add oil is needed.  Add tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt and fry until everything mashes together.

Add aji-no-moto.  Add water if necessary if you want it watery.

Add cooked macaroni and mix well.  Add salt if necessary.

Serve with tomato sauce or it can be taken as it is.
