Spaghetti Bolognese

Spaghetti Bolognese is one of the most popular type of pasta in Italy.

It’s very nourishing, budget-priced, you don’t need to spend much time to prepare it and you can find all ingredients you need in any supermarket.

Spaghetti Bolognese Ingredients

  • 200g Spaghetti
  • 300g mince
  • 500g chopped tomatoes in a tin
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 100 gcheese, grated
  • Salt, black pepper, herbs,
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped (optionally)

Cooking Instructions for Spaghetti Bolognese

Boil1 litre of water.

Add some salt and then the spaghetti. Leave it for 15-20 minutes until ready.

Meanwhile, preheat your frying pan over a medium heat and add a bit of olive oil into it.

Add the onion and fry until it has a light gold colour. Then add the mince and a bit of salt and mix everything very well. Leave it for 10 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes, pepper, herbs and the garlic into the frying pan. Mix everything very well and leave it over a low heat for 5-7 minutes.

When your spaghetti is ready, use a colander to drain it.

Add the spaghetti to the frying pan and mix everything very well and leave for it more a few more minutes.

Serve hot with grated cheese on the top.  Enjoy!!
