The Healthy Meatloaf

Most everybody loves a good homemade meatloaf, so why not make a delicious, melt in your mouth meatloaf thats healthy too.

By using lean ground beef and other “good for you” ingredients your meat loaf will not only be good to taste but also good for you. This is my families favorite meatloaf. You will find it is easy to prepare. Enjoy!

Cooking time: 1 hour
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Serves: 4-5

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup minced onions
  • ½ cup reduced cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon beef seasoning
  • 1 cup oats

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray baking pan with cooking spray.

In a large bowl combine all ingredients.

Form into loaf and place in baking pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour.
