Homemade Seasoned French Fries

So enjoy your potatoes, they are good for you. Not only are they low in fat and full of vitamins, they can be served up in healthy recipes, that are quick and easy to prepare. Besides that, they are inexpensive and even fussy kids love them.

Serves: 2 – 3

Ingredients

  • 3 – 4 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons finely ground corn meal
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil

Method

1. Clean potatoes and microwave 4 minutes, cool.

2. Stir together all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

3. Peal and cut potatoes into medium size French fries.

4. Place potatoes in the large bowl, and toss to cover.

5. Cook on griddle with olive oil for about 5 minutes on each side.
