Tortilla Pinwheels

Tortilla pinwheels are a delightful recipe for a cool summer lunch.

There is no cooking involved, just a little time to spread the cream cheese mixture onto the tortillas, slice and refrigerate.

Preparation time: 15 minutes, and refrigerate
Serves: 8


  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 4 oz soft cream cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • 3 tablespoons dried onions
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • Pinch of parsley
  • 3 -10 inch flour tortillas, room temperature


1. Combine first 7 ingredients, blend well.

2. Spread mixture on tortillas.

3. Roll tightly.

4. Wrap each in plastic wrap.

5. Twist ends, and refrigerate for at least a hour.

6. Unwrap and slice into ½ inch slices, and serve.
