Chicken Barbeque

Chicken barbecue is a chicken recipe in a barbecue style. You might have heard and seen a lot of barbecues recipes. Try this recipe to have the real taste of barbecue dishes. The barbecues can be arranged at your home. You can throw a party with a barbecue recipe theme. You can also relish it to have a break from mundane meal routines.

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 5 small onions
  • 3 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 4 seeded and sliced Red chili
  • 2 tsp crushed sugar2 tsp fish sauce
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 1 tsp tamarind water
  • 1 tsp lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 twigs of basil leaves
  • Coriander leaves to garnish


Grind chilies along with garlic and onion to make a paste. Add sugar, lime juice, coconut cream, fish sauce, tamarind water and salt to it. Stir it thoroughly for five minutes. Make at least 4-5 cuts in chicken breast and place it in a shallow dish. Pour the spice paste that you have made. Turn to coat and cover the dish to leave it for about an hour.

After an hour uncover the chicken and place it on a piece of foil. Grill it for about 5 minutes on each side. Baste it occasionally while cooking. Cook till it turns tender. Garnish it with basil leaves and coriander leaves. Serve it hot.
