It’s great to enjoy your favorite Chinese food at your local restaurant.

But you can also enjoy it at home. This recipe is easy to make and it won’t take a lot of time. So the next time you are in the mood for Chinese try this recipe for cashew chicken. You may be surprised, at how easy and delicious it is to prepare and serve.

  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • ¾ teaspoon soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoon water
  • 3 dashes of white pepper
  • dash of salt
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon olive oil


  • 10 oz. boneless and skinned chicken breast, cut in bite size pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small green pepper, cut into small bite size pieces
  • ¼ of medium onion, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons ginger
  • ½ cup cashews


1. Mix the sauce together and set aside.

2. Cook chicken in 1 spoon of olive oil until it turns white.

3. Remove chicken from pan.

4. Add another spoon of oil to pan and cook vegetables and ginger, until vegetables soften.

5. Put chicken back in pan.

6. Add sauce and cashews, cook and stir to keep from burning for 1 -2 minutes.

7. Serve with rice and Chinese tea.
