Apple and Honey-Mustard Chicken Breasts Recipe

This chicken recipe is good for a dinner time meal. The combination of the apple jelly, mustard and honey in which this chicken is marinated, makes for a fantastic glaze. Keep as much of this thick marinade on the chicken as possible.

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes


  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1/3 cup apple jelly
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg


Place the chicken breasts into a zip-top plastic bag. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken breasts. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours. Preheat grill at medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the bag, reserving the marinade. Place onto the grill and brush with the marinade.

Allow the chicken to cook for 10 minutes, turn, and baste again. Cook for an additional 10 minutes. Discard remaining of the marinade. When juices run clear and the chicken is no longer pink in the middle, remove from heat and serve hot.
