Make your cheeseburger healthy by choosing lean ground beef.

Also by adding a touch of quick cooking oats, you can add fiber to your recipe. Serve your burger with low fat cheese slices, and serve on a whole wheat bun. Beef seasoning will add to the flavor of your lean cheeseburger.

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons quick cooking oats
  • ½ tablespoon beef seasoning
  • 4 wholewheat hamburger buns
  • 4 slices low fat cheese
  • Lettuce & tomato


1. Combine beef, oats, and seasoning in a large bowl.

2. Shape meat mixture into 4 patties.

3. Cook 5 minutes on each side.

4. Place lettuce and tomato on buns.

5. Top with burger and cheese.

6. Close bun.
