If you like tacos, but don’t have the time to assemble them, or don’t like the mess when eating them, then this recipe is for you.
You will prepare your entire taco dinner in one skillet, which is loaded with onions, tortilla chips, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes with sour cream on the side. It is easy and fast to prepare, and every bit as good as tacos.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 small onion
- ¾ cup water
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 2 cups slightly broken tortilla chips
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 2 cups shredded lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
Method
1. Brown meat and onions in skillet, drain.
2. Add seasoning mix and water, cook according to directions on package.
3. Cover mixture with chips, and cheese.
4. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
5. Top with lettuce and tomatoes.
6. Serve with sour cream.
